Teacher Workshops
We offer training in two curriculum packages--Major Rivers and Project WET (Water Education for Teachers). Teachers can earn TEA-approved continuing education credit (SBEC, Gifted & Talented, and Environmental Education hours). Teachers receive materials and free resource kits to implement the curriculum. Workshops can be tailored to a school district's time requirements and student grade levels. |

Free Curriculum

Video Library
Water conservation and water education videos are available for check-out to persons within the education cooperative. Ages preschool-adult. (See list of available videos)
We have water-themed children's books available for check-out. Or call the education coordinator and schedule a story time visit at your library or classroom. |

Water History Trunk
Our collection of items is available for loan to teachers or can be brought to your classroom with an educational presentation. Children will learn about the history of water use in our part of Texas and will have fun trying to identify historical objects related to water. |

Youth Activity Resources
We can assist youth in their community service projects and learning activities. For Girl Scouts, we have activities that will help them to earn the "Water Wonders" badge, "Water Drop" patch, the "Water Everywhere" Brownie Try-It, "Girls Get With the Land" badge, and the "Folk Art" badge.
We also have numerous activities that can be used for 4-H demonstration projects or school projects. We welcome any opportunity to get involved with youth organizations. Email us or phone 806-456-2155 to schedule an activity for your group. |

Free Print Materials
Check with us for free printed materials on groundwater, water conservation, water quality, and other water related topics.
